YouTube
FanFest brings YouTube’s biggest stars in the Philippines. It was held at World
Trade Center (WTC) in Pasay City last May 27, 2016.
Foreign-based
performers such as AJ Rafael, Alex Wassabi, Connor Franta, Gab Valenciano,
Tanner Patrick, The Filharmonic, Tiffany Alvord, Tyler Ward, and Wengie was
featured in the event. While Abra, Bogart the Explorer, Lloyd Cafe Cadena, and
Mikey Bustos as the local acts.
The
event has 3 parts: First, is the YouTube fair where there are fun games and
prizes. Second, the Meet and Greet where you can meet your idol in flesh. Shake
hands, take a selfie, or ask questions you’ve been dying to ask. And lastly, is
the Live Show where you will watch the YouTube stars from all over the world
perform in a variety show of music, beauty, comedy and dance.
We
didn’t able to start the Live Show because we came late because of the heavy
traffic in Makati. The event place is huge in fact it is not crowded. You can
see the YouTuber’s even if you are at the back.
